The Book Was Better
Partee Elementary School is proud to present Partee Reads: The Book Was Better Movie Event, an exciting reading program that encourages students to read the books that inspired the films. This program asks that Partee students read the chosen books and participate in the corresponding eClass discussion activity to gain free admission to a showing of the full-length feature film immediately following school on December 1st and April 27th
The selections for this year are The Boss Baby by Marla Frazee (December 1st) and The BFG by Roald Dahl (April 27th.) These books can be borrowed from the Media Center or from Gwinnett County Public Library.

Contests!
Be recognized just for reading! Each month, the classroom with the most book checkouts gets bragging rights and a trophy for their classroom until a new winner is announced. To see who won for this month, check the Media Center eClass page.
Reader's Rally is an annual reading bowl competition among Gwinnett County Public Schools. 12 of Partee's 4th and 5th grade students who participate in the Paperback Generals bookclub will be selected to represent the school in March. For more information, visit our PaperBack Generals page.
